This app doesnt have fancy icons or prebuilt setups or community goals and challenges, but it is the one that Ive improved the most with. It will keep track of stats in an unintrusive way, it will keep badges until habits are finished (under whatever frequency you setup) and can even set custom timers for individual habits at any time. If you look deeper, it will give you charts of your progress and show you how youre doing. At one point in my life this app was one of three apps on my home screen. Ive tried *a lot* of other habit apps and have built repeating reminders in todo apps and tried community goal apps that try to put you with like minded people (which is a nice *feature*). All those had something that seemed to get in the way of me forming actual habits or fiddling with settings or doing something other than improving habits I wanted to form. This app must have gotten the magic balance right because the habits have stuck when I used it. It seems like I finally stopped putting more things in the way (or not enough to remind me on some level) to finally form the habits I wanted. Thats honestly been a life giver. Cant remember what I paid for it, and I dont write many reviews, but this is worthy of each star every day on my phone.

too late. Finally switched over to Momentum a month ago and it works perfectly and syncs with iCloud so you can easily transfer your data over to a new phone, if necessary, and the UI is nicer too. Habit List currently has no such backup & restore functionality so if you switch phones, you lose all your data unless fully restoring from a backup (who does this?). Also, Habit List hasn’t been updated in over 13 months and any questions to the developers are 100% ignored. Vote with your money and give it to anyone else except these two. Also: the annoying list bug that version 3.2.4 fixes has existed for over 13 months! Even for a side project, it should never take this long to implement such a minor fix and this is indicative of how little attention this app gets.

I love this app and I use it all the time. *I really want them to add an iPad version and also to have either a username and password login save my information or to have iCloud sync so my progress doesnt get lost between transferring devices like new iPhones for example. *Also, on my list of habits I havent done yet, the bottom habit in the Today view is Still half cut off even after the recent update. *Finally, Id love there to be a single habit view, like "Next Habit" for those of us with ADHD who would like to focus on the task at hand! :)

Amazing. Its really easy to use and has been a great at keeping me on track with school work.
The app really motivates me to complete my goal, , its easy to use with a beautiful interface. Its almost perfect, it will be perfect if a widget can help me quickly view what I have to do and check off what I have done today.
Use this daily for all my recurring good habits I want to keep up, simple intuitive design, of the flexibility and ability to really customize when or how often you do a certain habit
Ive tried all the habit tracking apps but this one is by far the best. I like that it does not require a sign-in and allows so much customization of the frequency of individual habits. My only suggestion would be to create a Watch app. Perhaps in the next version?

This is one app I go to every single day. It gives me motivation to find the discipline to continue the good habits I want and break the ones I dont. Id love to see (and would gladly pay a premium for) features such as: - vacation mode - badges for long term streaks - analysis (ie, not surprisingly, Ive noticed that I break more streaks on Fridays than any other day)
I simply needed a exterior source of context, a landmark in my day to orient me towards those things I want to be doing but which arent convenient to get around to or keep in mind. This app is perfect for me.
Ive tried a number of habit trackers but prefer the simplicity of this one. I dont need to spend a lot of time setting it up and processing it through the day. Its simple layout and gui make it easy to use. Its more about completing my daily routine than tweaking the app.
Ive tried them all, and this is the clear winner. I love its simple and clean interface. Most other apps just show a huge list of all your habits. This one only shows what I have to do TODAY, and keeps me focused. Another thing that sets it apart from others is the scheduling. You can choose specific days, various intervals, number of times per week...even ranges like every 3-5 days. I love seeing my streaks increase every time I complete a habit, and I can immediately tell how Im doing by their color. I also like that you can skip habits without being penalized. This is great if you have a big streak going, but say for example you go on vacation and are allowed to miss your workout. And if you forget to cross items off, you can see past days or go to the habits calendar to mark them off. Habit List is hugely motivating and has really changed my life. Ive put it on my home screen, you should too!
I just got this app today as part of my self-improvement resolution for 2016. Absolutely love everything about it, the color, the look, the check function and a lot more! Its very easy to use and perfect for busy people!
This app is almost perfect. Unfortunately a lack of two features has necessitated my use of a second app for certain habits. This app would be the only one I needed if I could use it to also track bad habits. Also, the frequency options are great and much better than most apps but I wish I could select a frequency for something I need to do multiple times a day. Im trying to cut out soda and add water to my diet and a smoother way to track those would be amazing.
The most valuable app on my phone for helping me stay on target with my goals.
